When it detects a date or time, it automatically creates a local notification and optionally adds it to your iOS Calendar.

Yes, absolutely. Pocket Memo is designed with privacy at its core:

• All voice notes are stored locally on your device
• We do not have access to your voice notes or their content
• No cloud sync or server uploads
• No tracking or analytics in the app
• Voice recognition is processed on-device by Apple

Your thoughts stay private on your device, protected by your device's encryption and security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).

Yes! Pocket Memo works completely offline. Since all data is stored locally and voice recognition is performed on-device, you can use the app without an internet connection. Note that initial setup may require downloading Apple's speech recognition models for your language, but after that, it's fully functional offline.

Voice recordings are transcribed to text and stored locally in the app's secure database. You can:

• View and edit transcribed text
• Organize notes into folders
• Mark notes as completed or archive them
• Delete individual notes or all notes at once
• Optionally back up via iCloud Backup (controlled by you and Apple, not us)

Yes, you can export notes individually or in bulk. Export formats include:

• Plain text (.txt)

You can also back up all your data via iCloud Backup, which backs up the entire app's database.

Pocket Memo requires iOS 17.0 or later. It works on:

• iPhone (iOS 17+)
• iPad (iPadOS 17+)

Some features, like Action Button support, are only available on specific devices (iPhone 15 Pro and later).

Pocket Memo uses Apple's on-device speech recognition, which is highly accurate for most scenarios. Accuracy depends on:

• Clarity of speech (clear pronunciation works best)
• Background noise (quieter environments improve accuracy)
• Language and accent support
• Microphone quality

You can always edit transcriptions after recording to correct any errors. The app supports multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, and Swedish.

Currently, Pocket Memo does not include cloud sync. All data is stored locally on each device. However, if you enable iCloud Backup in your iOS settings, your notes will be backed up to your personal iCloud account and restored when you set up a new device.

Cloud sync may be added in a future update based on user feedback.

Pocket Memo is a productivity tool for general note-taking. It is not designed for critical, time-sensitive, or safety-critical tasks like medication schedules, medical appointments, or emergency situations. Voice recognition and notifications may occasionally fail or be inaccurate.

For medication reminders, please use dedicated medical apps or consult your healthcare provider.
